New Projects for HOCHTIEF Construction Austria

Railway underpass Unterrohr – Kremstal, Austria
The construction of the railway underpass allows the close down of the current at-grade railway crossing with five tracks and to replace it with an underpass. Additionally, a level-free cycle and pedestrian path creates a connection from the street Lindenstraße to the new access of the street Bahnhofstraße to the B139. Construction works will be completed by July 2013.


Bypass Straßwalchen – junction west, Salzburg
The project mainly comprises the construction of two underground railroad lines and the road construction. It has a contract volume of € 23.5 million and will be completed by the end of January, 2014.


A8 highway Augsburg – Ulm, Germany (PPP-project)
The expansion work on the A8 commenced in June 2011 and is scheduled to last for four years. The work includes expanding a 41-kilometer section of the A8 from four to six lanes without interrupting traffic flow. The remaining 17 kilometers already have six lanes.
