For the Leibnitz-Wagna-Kaindorf wastewater authority in Styria, we are upgrading the Leibnitz wastewater treatment plant to create a state-of-the-art facility meeting the requirements of the relevant environmental legislation. We are also increasing its capacity to 50,000 population equivalent (PE). The project is a further example of HOCHTIEF Construction internal networking. Together with the Competence Centers within the Group, we bundle technological expertise in wastewater treatment plant construction with local knowledge.

The contract includes the supply and installation of all mechanical equipment for the treatment plant, advancing step by step with the construction work for the plant's refurbishment and modernization. After the assembly and completion of the entire facility, the wastewater treatment plant will be tuned to meet the statutory requirements over a two-month period of trial operation.
